With full appreciation and assumption of the risk involved and as a condition to my participation in the APIAVote’s National AAPI Leadership Summit (the “Event”) held by Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote Inc. (“APIAVote”), I hereby assume full responsibility for all risks associated with my attendance and participation in the Event and hereby waive, release, discharge and agree to hold harmless APIAVote, its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, representatives, staff, contractors, volunteers and other participants from all any injuries, death, disability, personally injury, losses, property damage or loss, damages, liabilities, or expenses, that are related to, occur during or alleged to be caused by my travel to, attendance or participation in the Event or the condition of the property, facilities or equipment involved in the Event (the “Released Claims”).  I hereby agree (x) to not make any claim, and covenant not to sue, with respect to any Released Claims, arising through the negligence, omission, default or other action of anyone affiliated with APIAVote or the Event venues and (x) to indemnify and defend APIAVote with respect to any such claim. 

I understand that the Event may be photographed and hereby grant permission to APIAVote to use my photograph, video or film likeness, voice, and biographical material for any legitimate purposes and agree that no royalty, fee, or any other compensation of any kind shall become payable to me by reason of such release and use of any of the aforementioned.
