On November 18 at 12:00 pm ET, nonpartisan civic engagement organization Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) will host a press conference with Executive Director Christine Chen to address the record turnout of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voters in the 2020 election.

In light of the 2020 Presidential election, Christine Chen, executive director of Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) issues the following statement.
As of 2020, a total of 22 states plus Washington, D.C. have enacted same-day registration. This allows any qualified resident of the state to go register and cast their ballot on the same day.
Current events (like a global pandemic) have changed just about everything in 2020 and the November election is no different.
APIAVote is dedicated to making sure every voter–new, former, or current–is ready to vote on election day.
