APIAVote is leading a growing movement to amplify the voices of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, so that our communities have a say in the policies, politics and issues affecting them.

New Asian American Voter Survey Data 2026

Since 2012, the multilingual survey has tracked the attitudes, priorities and voting behavior of Asian American voters and provided critical insights into one of the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. electorate. The 2026 survey also provides new insights into the attitudes and experiences of Pacific Islander (PI) voters.

Among the topline findings:

  • 90% of AAPI registered voters say they plan to vote in the 2026 midterm elections, up from 84% in 2022 and 86% in 2018. Seventy-one percent say they are absolutely certain they will vote.
  • Cost of living and inflation are the dominant concerns, with 90% of Asian Americans and 89% of Pacific Islanders saying it is very or extremely important in deciding how they vote.
