In the lead-up to presidential elections, APIAVote hosts AAPI convention mixers at both DNC and RNC conventions.
Since 2008, the Presidential Town Hall has served as a forum for AAPIs to push for AAPI issues to be addressed and on the radar of campaigns and the media.
In June 2022, APIAVote was a lead organizer of the first-ever Asian American-led Unity March, a rally held at the National Mall in DC in front of a crowd of thousands. The mobilization brought together the diverse Asian diaspora, with multicultural partners across the LGBTQ+, Muslim, disability communities, Black, Indigenous and Pacific Islander, Latino, and Arab American communities, to demand racial and economic justice.
