Presidential Town Hall

Since 2008, the Presidential Town Hall has served as a crucial national forum for inviting presidential candidates to engage directly with the AAPI community. By providing a dedicated space for candidates to address AAPI community members, leaders, and organizers face-to-face, the town hall offers one of the rare opportunities for this impactful growing electorate to hear directly from those vying for the nation’s highest office. This event ensures that AAPI issues are brought to the forefront of campaigns and media attention, pushing candidates to address the concerns and priorities that matter most to the AAPI population.

This year, the Presidential Town Hall will be held in the Philadelphia Convention Center on July 13, 2024. We are anticipating a crowd of up to 1800 in attendance for an in person event. See here for more information.

Party Conventions

In the lead-up to presidential elections, APIAVote hosts AAPI convention mixers at both DNC and RNC conventions.

Unity March

In June 2022, APIAVote was a lead organizer of the first-ever Asian American-led Unity March, a rally held at the National Mall in DC in front of a crowd of thousands. It brought together the Asian diaspora, with multicultural partners across the LGBTQ+, Muslim, disability communities, Black, Indigenous and Pacific Islander, Latino, and Arab American communities, to demand racial and economic justice.
