Kasey Buecheler (she/her/hers) is APIAVote’s Development Associate. In this role, Kasey is a key contributor to APIAVote’s ability to recruit the resources necessary to achieve its vision, working to sustain and build a strong base of donors who invest in APIAVote’s vision.
Prior to her work at APIAVote, Kasey worked as an ESL Instructor in South Korea. Additionally, both her graduate studies and internship experiences were focused primarily on North Korea security and human rights issues, including serving as a Communications Assistant at NK News and a research intern at The Committee for Human Rights in North Korea. Kasey has a B.A. in Dance and Asian Studies from SUNY Buffalo as well as an M.A. in Political Science from Yonsei University, where she was a recipient of the NIIED Korean Government Scholarship Program.
