For nearly three decades, Eric Salcedo has advocated for the rights of underrepresented and disempowered communities in nonprofit and government sectors. Eric was previously with the Democratic National Committee as the AAPI Coalitions Director. During the 2020 presidential election, he was the Coordinated Campaign’s Midwest Regional Coalitions Director for the Biden for President campaign. Afterwards, he served as the Agency Engagement Liaison for the EPA on the Biden-Harris Transition.
From 2014 to 2019, Eric was the National Field Director at APIAVote where he trained local community organizations across the country on best practices for voter registration, volunteer recruitment, and mobilization of the AAPI electorate.
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Northwestern University. As an undergraduate, he led the student movement that established the university’s Asian American Studies Program.
