Born and raised in Chicago, Susan comes from a family of fearless international innovators and entrepreneurs.  As the daughter of one of the co-founders of Patel Brothers, the largest Indian grocery chain in America, the value of work ethic was instilled in her at an early age.  Susan knew that to succeed, one must have a plan, stay dedicated, keep focused, and do hard work. 

Susan Patel is a dynamic community leader, seasoned entrepreneur, and dedicated advocate for positive change. With a rich history of non-profit work and a passion for politics, she has tirelessly worked to empower her community. As a respected board member on numerous initiatives and an influential figure in the South Asian community, Susan’s endorsements and activism in the Democratic Party have left an indelible mark.  Her journey is a testament to the power of determination and leadership in effecting meaningful change.
