A 2020 Special Get-Out-the-Count Training

Join us on Thursday, January 23rd for Asian Pacific Fund’s Getting Out the API Census Count workshop, co-hosted with API Council, and sponsored by Comcast. This is a great opportunity for organizations interested in Census Outreach efforts or organizations who are already preparing for the 2020 Census.

The training will take place from 10 AM-2 PM at United Way Bay Area, 550 Kearny St #1000, in San Francisco. The training will be led by Executive Director Christine Chen of APIAVote and U.S. Census Bureau Partnership Specialist Sonny Le.

This training is recommended for staff working with clients on Census outreach strategies and/or assisting clients with filling out the Census form. Topics covered will include Census gaps, Census scenarios while helping clients fill out the Census form, messaging and best practices. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to connect in small groups and create local Get-Out-The-Count plans tailored to specific communities.

Register here: https://apftrainingcensus.eventbrite.com and use the password APICensus. There is currently space for up to two members per organization but if you’d like to send additional staff email info@apiavote.org subject line “SF training.”

A light breakfast will be served at 9:30 AM and the training will begin at 10 AM sharp. Lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there!
