- Hanley Chan (CA) is running for Broadmoor Police Comission
- Ling Ling Chang (CA) is running for Diamond Bar City Council
- Margaret Chin (NY) could become the first Chinese-American representative on City Council in First District which includes NYC's Chinatown.
- Yen Chou (NY) is running for City Councilman John Liu's seat in Distrct 20 and will face Peter Koo in the general election.
- Raj Goyle (KS), currently State Representative, is running for Kansas' 4th Congressional Disctrict.
- Mark Keam (VA) is a candidate for Virginia House of Delegates, 35th District.
- Kevin Kim (NY) emerged as the Democratic nominee City Council in the 19th District.
- Yoriko Kishimoto (CA), former Palo Alto Mayor and City Council member, is running for State Assembly in District 21.
- PJ Kim (NY), lost to Margaret Chin in the primary for City Council but was recently named as one of the "40 Under 40 Rising Stars in NY Politics" by City Hall.
- Peter Koo (NY) is running for John Liu's seat in District 20 and will face Yen Chou in the general election.
- David Lim (CA) is running for San Mateo City Council candidate.
- John Liu (NY), NY City Council member, won the primary for Comptroller and will face Joe Mendola in the general election. If he wins, he will be the first Asian-American to serve as a top city official.
- Jean Quan (CA), the first AAPI woman to serve on Oakland's City Council has recently started an exploratory committee to run for Mayor of Oakland.

- Al Muratsuchi (CA) is running for reelection to Torrance School Board
- Mark Pulido (CA) is running for ABC School Board.
- Jeanette Rishell (VA) is running for Virginia's 50th District House of Delegates seat
- Manan Trivedi (PA) is running for Congress in Pennsylvania's District 6.
- Vallay Moua Varro (MN), Education Policy Director for the City of Saint Paul, won the primary election on September 15 for St. Paul School Board and will face Pat Igo in the general election.
- Alex Wan (GA) seeks to run for Atlanta City Council District 6
- Sam Yoon (MA), is currently an at-large member of Boston's City Council. He recently made a run for Mayor of Boston but lost to Michael Flaherty in the primary. Since then Yoon has teamed up with Flaherty to run as his Deputy Mayor. The Flaherty-Yoon ticket faces incumbent Thomas Menino in the general election.
